Long ago, in a country called South Africa, a boy named Nelson Mandela was born. He loved to learn and play with his friends.

Nelson became a lawyer and spoke out against unfair laws. He joined a group called the African National Congress (ANC) to fight for the rights of black people.

Nelson was put in jail for standing up against unfair laws. He spent many years in prison, but he never gave up fighting for what was right.

After many years, Nelson Mandela was finally set free. He worked hard to bring peace and equality to South Africa.

Nelson Mandela became the first black president of South Africa. He worked to bring people together and make sure everyone was treated fairly.
